Help shape the future of The Ghyll
The Ghyll, is now operated by an independent charity – Southwater Ghyll CIO. The charity Trustees are all local residents who volunteer their time for the community.
As the Ghyll expands, and the nature of its operation changes, we are seeking enthusiastic and passionate new Trustees, and fresh ideas, to help make The Ghyll the best it can be for the community of Southwater.
As a Trustee, you will help to shape the way that The Ghyll operates, generates income, controls costs and remain compliant. By representing the community of Southwater, you’ll help to ensure that the facilities remain suitable for the communities needs and help them develop over time.
As you help The Ghyll to develop, you’ll get a real sense of achievement knowing that you’ve helped build and manage a fantastic community asset for the residents of Southwater.
All it takes is a few hours a month. Meetings are held at 7:30 – 9pm every other Tuesday, either online or at The Ghyll, where both operational and strategic matters are discussed. You can get as involved as much you like - from day to day operations to a more passive, observational role.
